Prima Projects Galore!

Well, I'm absolutely certain my blog title just gave it away *lol*!! I'm here today (after a long hiatus at that) to share some projects I've made using Prima products over the years I've been scrapbooking. There's something about Prima that keeps one spellbound and definitely in awe.

Prima, like many of us, has come a long way. From simple, general scrapbooking and card making, it now caters for beginners to the ever famous mixed media enthusiats! I shall not take up more time, do have a look at what I have to share! ;)

Thankful for You

Today I'm sharing with you lovely crafters on how the Happy Camper & Friendly Forest lines go so well together. As the theme for the projects revolve around being thankful, I'd like to share with  you'll a layout I created featuring the two blessings in my life, my baby girls :) I am thankful for having them in life. They bring immense joy and never fail to lift my spirits on a trying day. Here's my layout featuring them..

Sisters Layout

This is my first blog post and layout featuring my 4mo old lil missy T and 3yr old lil missy A. Also, I have used up the Prima Fairy Belle PPs that I've been saving up for sometime now (don't ask me why *lol*) I have a phobia when comes to cutting pretty patterned paper..and this line was no exception..to be honest, after cutting this up, I searched high and low on etsy and where not to get my hands on them again as the LSS's in Malaysia no longer have 'em in stock...I can now heave a sigh of relief cause I've managed to replenish 'em yaays!!! :)

Anyhoots, last month I played along at Berry71Bleu..and this month, with very lil time in hand, I still 'ached' to play along cause it's a fun challenge this round yet again! I love this challenge cause the only requirement this time is that you use WINGS somewhere on your project! sooo easy when you can use butterflies, fairies,...the possibilities are endless isnt it? :) So here's mine of my DDs..and I've got quite abit of wings flapping about isn't it? lol!!

Play

A very simple CAS layout to share today. Using the older Pebbles patterned paper, this was pretty easy to put together given they were made using scraps! The only piece of material that was made specifically for this layout is the felt flowers..using the Sizzix Layer Flowers die, this was very quickly layered according to size and topped up with a nice big 1/2 inch button for the centre! :)

Good Times Layout

My cousin's off to the States this 23rd...she will be there for at least a couple of years while she does her internship at a hospital in Philedelphia and during that time, she won't be making any trips back home...her parents will be visiting her a couple of times a year while she's there and of course I too wouldn't mind making a trip there if that means shopping for SB supplies! teeheee! just kidding ;)


We will surely miss her loads..though cousins, we tend to be rather close..we lookout for each other as sisters would.. so as a farewell pressie, I made her this lil layout (which I need to frame up before I give her *lol*) comprising pics we took (using my fav Instax mini 7s camera -- I just had to add that hehe) at her farewell lunch.


Don't get scared looking at the pics *lol* we meant to give her a funny faces layout :) For a change we shall start with close-up shots and then move on to the bigger picture yea.. ;) I shall leave you with the layout while I make a quick dash to the frame shop! adieu!

Hola! You Are Special To Me

Hey there lovelies! Can you believe it's thursday already? Not that it matters much to me...considering every day is a working day for a SAHM *lol* :) 


Well, My lil Missy A's birthday is just around the corner and am reli stumped for ideas on what to get her...her daddy spoils her rotten by gettin her toys every other day! And has left me with no choice on what to get her...sigh...any tips anyone? She'll be 3 by the way :)

While I was expecting, Jessy and I met up for a quick bite and had taken this shot together. I love this pic to bits and was waiting for the right moment to scrap it. And true enough, that moment came by real quick! lol! When Jessy scrapped this pic (a layout which got featured at the SC member gallery (you go girl! :)), I thought it'll be fun for me to scraplift this talented lady's page using the very same pic of us together!

My YSS DT Kit this time had a chock full of October Afternoon 5 & Dime goodness and Cosmo Cricket's Odds and Ends...you gotta love both lines for sure! :) Big thanks to Erica for letting us pick out our own stash this time! you're the sweetest! lol!! :)

With all that yummo goodness, I whipped up this (super layered) layout of my Missy A and her lil fren (whose name also starts with A! hence the A & A titled layout) :P.. you can see, I simply couldn't resist adding the Cosmo Cricket fussy cut vintage gurls to my layout!

Those Jillibean Soup Corrugated Alphas are cool too! I dabbed some glimmer glaze and glimmer glam to change the white of the alphas to a slightly off white tinge, and if you look at it up close, it's all glittery and very pretty! :) I added the glimmer glam to the white flowers too :)

Papier Love - Altered Canvas

Good day ya'll! :) It's a beautiful Wednesday and with my turn at the Papier blog, I'd like to share with you an altered canvas! ;) It was made following these simple steps:

1) Stamp all round the canvas with a script stamp (or any other background one of your choice)
2) Create a background for photo using rub-ons (I've used the Glitz Design Love Nest rub-on)
3) Tie a bow around the Maya Road sheer tag
4) Adhere photo, tag and flowers

Easy peasy eh? Do try it some time! ;)

Hey Buttercup!

Hey there!! It's Wednesday and that means a DT project by me to share with ya'll! and what have I got in store? a layout! :)

As shared with ya'll in my previous posts, my Papier DT kit this month had Basic Grey papers. This range is rather on the colourful side, but beautiful nonetheless, and matching 'em together for layers was a tad bit tough..but here's what I came up with, hope it inspires you! ;) I hardly ever use patterned papers for my background, but I must say I do like how this turned out! :)

I also had some vintage lace which I quickly turned into a flower ;) It's nice for a change don't ya think? Something different from the usual of just adhering across the page. I also used vintage buttons for the centres..and then I further embellished with some die cut chipboard stickers of the same BG range..

Where Have I Been?

*lol* No where really!! I think it's just been one of those mojo-less days! (maybe week) where I hadnt even blog hopped! looks like I've got lots of hopping to do this weekend *lol* and yes I will definitely be stopping by your blogs to be inspired! ;)

Bloom & Grow

hello there!! today was crazy!! we had a small do for Missy A's 2nd Birthday..and it was fun! we had close friends and family over...and guess what the theme was? Barney of course!! so from balloons to party favours..it was all Barney!

Not forgetting the cake, and we even had a Barney mascot...wana take a guess on who was inside that suit? my DH of course!, yeap...this time, hubby went a wee bit overboard and got the Barney suit shipped over to us..that's how crazy he is over Missy A, AND that's how crazy Missy A is over Barney!! so now..we've got 3 sizes of Barney dolls, small, medium and extra large! lol!! will be sure to share sum pics soon ;)

Moving on the reason for my posting today, it's a layout made out of die cut stickers and fussy cutting..it's a layout of my princess and a wish for her..to bloom and grow into a courteous, kind hearted one.. :)

Bunny on the Loose!

Hey there dearies! been a long while since I popped by here isn't it! lol!! today I'm here to share a layout I made late last night! yes..I've been bizzy as a bee whipping up projects to share with my dear bloggy friends, and this layout is one of 'em!

Not too long ago, I had gotten my Missy A a bunny bathrobe for her to use after a bit of splashing around in the pool..and to be quite honest..she ain't a big fan of it! *lol*!! she constantly tugs at it and most often, the lil bunny ears hoodie falls off her head!

My hubby managed to capture a pic of her in action, and I went right ahead and scrapped it! :) Here it is...a very simple one..I tried something different, I distressed the edges of the photos cause I wanted it to match the distressed script ephemera :P but I'm not certain if you can see it..
