Here's my first project as part of the DT for Papier! It's amazing how one patterned paper is all you need to create a card! You don't even need to use other embellies (i.e: flowers, etc) to accentuate the card cause the patterned paper would probably do the job for you ;)
This is a simple piece I made using Kaisercraft's PP. The bird cage and flowers were also cut out from the very same PP!
* Tip 1: Don't be afraid to cut. You'll be amazed by the results it brings.
* Tip 2: When you round the corners of the card, it often makes the ribbon stick out like a sore
thumb. To avoid that, I've tied a lil knot before stretching right across to make the bow. Try it! & let me know if you like the effect ;)
