Altered Clock for the Lovely Lady

Hello wonderful, crafty people!! Sharm here to share a potential handmade Mother's Gift for the lovely lady in your life :) This clock is a fully workable one that will look lovely on her dresser. I was inspired by the lovely ones that Miranda Edney makes and simply had to try my hands at one!  I must warn you, it is VERY addictive :) I made it for my DT post at The PaperHaus Magazine

The clock was purchased a thrift store at slightly over USD 3. What I did when I got home was  to dismantle it piece by piece, making sure all the parts were kept nicely so I re-assemble them once I was done with altering the clock face

Next, I gesso-ed the entire outer portion of the clock and left it to dry. After that, using a stencil, I applied texture paste for some texture (obviously, *LOL*) and proceeded to embellish the clock with tonnes of Prima flower, metal & resin embellishments. I also used gel medium to hold the layers together as the heat gun glue simply wasn't strong enough
