*lol* I like the way my blog title's soo rhymey...it was intentional by the way! ;) It's late and am dying to get to bed but this card making hobby is way too addictive! I promise you...once you start...there's just no end!
But I'm loving it to bits *hehe*...Today I've got a card made using Get Sketchy's sketch #35.. Really cool sketch! You should give it a go too ;)
HERE's the sketch & there's my take on it ;)
Military Green Cardstock
Corrugated Cardboard
Pink Cardstock
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Pearl String
Rhinestone Brad
Velvet Bow
Grossgrain Ribbon
Pearls
Handmade Flower Embellies
Sentiment - My own
Ranger Distress Inks
Ranger Distress Inks
I embossed the pink cardstock for the curve of the card, then embellished it with 4 strings of pearl strings & put a grossgrain ribbon. Above the bow of the grossgrain ribbon, I put Another velvet bow and stuck my Rhinestone Brad on it.
I then handmade the flowers using my trusted *lol* X-Cut 2" Scallop Circle Punch and distressed the flower and card with Ranger Inks. After that, I used a pin to poke tiny holes along the edges of the card for a more rustic look.
And lastly, I put the sentiment 'Something sweet for you' which I came up with on my own and printed off my hubby's gift (remember the HP all-in-one I was raving about yesterday :P) *hehe*, dabbed distress inks and placed it on my card.
Like it? Hope you do...off to la la land now..nitey nite!
gorgeous!
