Papier - Layout

Oooo I gotta tell you, the Christmas arrivals at Papier is AWESOME! *lol* I love the stuff Macy's brought in from Making Memories..I'm already feeling all festive.. and I bet you will too! ;)

Here's a simple LO I made...thought it'll be a change from the usual cards I share (of course there are few lined up for the weeks to come ;)) Hope it inspires you!

Last year, was Aneeka's (and our) first ever Christmas celebration..while my dad's sister celebrates it every year..it's the first for our family..complete with a tree and pressies.. ;)

Rueben & I went looking for the perfect tree & shopping for the ornaments were oh so fun!! I also dressed Aneeka up in this cute reindeer costume! I hope she'll still be able to fit into it this year..lol

Tip to share:
* You can save a lil from buying alphas by using the words from patterned papers. I've done so for this layout where I cut out the words joy & noel from the MM patterned paper.

* Instead of flat looking alphas, you can add some stickles for shine & top off with a nice thck layer of glossy accents. It will cause the alphas to curl a lil..but that's a nice touch ain't it ;)

Materials Used : Making Memories Patterned Paper, Ranger Glossy Accents, Making Memories Die Cut, Lace, Glitter Stickles.
