Hey there crafty friends! Hope your week is going smooth and filled with fun..I know I'm having a good week (so far) I whipped up this altered project and I'm still scrapping a project a day (or at least I'm trying *lol*) so that surely spells fun doesn't it? :)
Anyhoots, this small little box was actually a door gift at a wedding reception held at our place recently. Being a hoader (I confess, I'm a terrible one) I couldn't help but save this box though the chocolates that came in them were long gone. And I'm so glad I did!!
Here's what I did to it for my project at The PaperHaus Magazine:
Materials Used:
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny
Chipboard: Memory Maze Vintage Corners
Flowers: Prima Marketing & Craft Supply
Embellishents: Clock: Prima, Fairy: Prima
Die: Memory Box Butterfly Die
Chain & Charms, Pearls & Blings: Etsy Shop
Medium: Golden Gel Medium
Paint: Ranger Crackle Paint in Rock Candy (for Fairy's wings), Ranger Distress Paints in Picket Fence
Some basic instructions to share:
1) Gesso the entire box
2) Adhere music note patterned paper
3) On a string of metal chain, add charms and go around the box.
4) Add a clasp to the chain end so the box is closed securely
5) Using, distress paint (oh how I love 'em!),dab all over the box at random areas and on a piece of corner chipboard (I've used a Memory Maze one here)
6) Embellish further with layers of flowers, butterflies, Resin fairy and any other embellishments of your fancy
WOWZERS!!!! Girl this is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
